Toparticipate, join one of the multiplayer race servers (they are called WarBRD Race Tournament =Group A= and WarBRD Race Tournament =Group B=) and fly the track on the selected aircraft (Bf-109 F-4 in Group A and Yak-1 series 69 in Group B) as fast as you can - the number of attempts during the qualification stage is not limited. The completion time in each attempt will be recorded automatically, the best time in the group will be taken into account.

Please note that after the end of the event all the participants who have flown the track at least once will receive a small gift on our website. If you are playing the Steam version of IL-2, then the IL-2 and Steam accounts must be linked so that the server could identify you (your nickname must be visible in the main menu of the game). If you have not linked your accounts yet, you can do it quickly - click on the automatically generated pilot name in the main menu of the Steam version of the game and then either enter your IL-2 login and password or go through registration there.

If you wish to make your results eligible for the race finals and receive special gifts from VIRPIL Controls and 1C Game Studios, please visit Virpil-servers.com and register there - you'll get an unique code via e-mail. You have to enter this code in the multiplayer chat on the racing server to have your race results tied to VIRPIL Controls account. You can view the results of all participants at any time here.

The qualification stage ends on June 11. Ten selected finalists will participate in the finals on June 17th - three fastest racers and other finalists will receive special gifts from 1C Game Studios and VIRPIL Controls.

In other news - at the moment several aircraft are in the works as usual. We'll love to tell you about them in detail closer to their release, but today we can at least show you how the first two aircraft of Flying Circus Vol. III look in the sim at the moment (other planes including collector ones are either at an eariler development stage to show or were already shown on screenshots before). Here are Halberstadt D.II...

Unmanned aircraft systems provide an alternative platform for observing, monitoring, and measuring focal targets. They fill the gap between satellite and manned aircraft imagery and ground-based observations. Aerial platforms efficiently cover large areas of land, particularly when ground operations are difficult or dangerous, such as in the Everglades. Unmanned aircraft provide a method of obtaining aerial imagery without the added risk of putting a human life in the air. An interdisciplinary team of researchers at the University of Florida, with funding from various agencies over the years, have developed several small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) designed specifically as low-cost, autonomous, aerial imaging tools for ecological research and monitoring.

The UF Unmanned Aircraft Systems Research Program has worked for nearly 18 years to pioneer the development of UAS technology as a tool for aerial imagery collection for natural resource applications.

The initial motivation to explore UAV applications for natural resource applications was to save lives. Due to the challenging terrain and low altitudes characteristic of aerial surveys, light aircraft crashes are the leading cause of workplace mortality among wildife biologists. Despite this fact, thousands of flights are performed annually to perform these critical surveys as no suitable alternative previously existed.

Once the initial concept of utilizing UASs to augment manned flights was proven feasible through preliminary pilot application projects, subsequent development resulted in 6 generations of fixed-wing unmanned systems. Building on experiences gained and subsequent lessons learned, the Program enhanced its interdisciplinary scope with the inclusion of researchers from the UF Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

This partnership brought advancements in vehicle capabilities, improving flight performance and navigational accuracy while increasing durability for operations in challenging locales. As a suitable sensor platform became available, additional expertise was contributed by researchers from the UF School of Forest Resources and Conservation's Geomatics Program, who then focused the Program's efforts on the development of improved imaging payloads for aerial mapping.

The latest generation fixed-wing sUAS is the result of intensive cooperative development between biologists who specify the imagery data products and operational constraints they require, geomaticists who then develop a suitable payload to meet those needs, and aerospace engineers who finally design and build the airframe to optimally exploit the payload in the specified environment. As the latest system is currently producing valuable aerial imagery products, there is an ongoing development push toward optimizing the methodology of data acquisition and improving the processing and analysis required to turn "pretty pictures" into valuable scientific data to assist biologists and project leads in making better informed assessments and management decisions.

The Adventures of Superboy is a proposed TV series that was put into production in 1961.[1] It was meant to capitalize on the success of Adventures of Superman, which went out of production in 1958. Only a pilot episode ("Rajah's Ransom")[2][3] was produced, although 12 additional scripts had been prepared, had the series been picked up.

It featured the first non-comic book portrayals ever of Superboy and Lana Lang and stands as a forerunner of the later series Superboy, which lasted four seasons and Smallville, which lasted ten seasons.

The only stand-alone releases so far for The Adventures of Superboy have been from specialty distributors, such as Video Rarities, which released it on VHS along with The Adventures of Superpup and screen test footage as Superboy and Superpup: The Lost Pilots.

This pilot episode has been included in the 62-disc DVD box set of Smallville: The Complete Series, released by Warner Home Video in November 2011, along with additional bonus features not included in the individual season releases of Smallville.[5]

A book titled Superboy and Superpup: The Lost Videos, written by Chuck Harter, was published in 1993 by Cult Movies Press. It looked at both The Adventures of Superboy pilot and The Adventures of Superpup pilot, as well as the 12 additional Superboy scripts that were prepared had the Superboy pilot been picked up as a series.[6] The book also claims that a story in issue #88 of the Superboy comic is based on the pilot script.[2] In September 2022, BearmanorMedia.com republished "Superboy & Superpup The Lost Videos" by Chuck Harter, now with a full color cover. The new edition is available in hardback, paperback and e-book editions.

Your posting your opinions as facts, while I am almost sure you do not know all of them. How sure are you no ATR pilot was involved? How sure are you there are no variants in which some of your items are different from what you have seen? Etc.

Due to recent developments, please be aware that the use of large language model or generative AIs in writing article content is strictly forbidden. This caveat has now been added to the Manual of Style and Blocking Policy.

In Cleveland, Captain America and Battlestar hunt down and capture a young mutant with porcupine-like powers for failing to register with the government. While transporting the prisoner by helicopter, they're attacked by a quartet of mutants in yellow and black uniforms riding on a flying, burning chunk of rock. The mutants announce themselves as the Resistants out to fight registration. Outgunned and with no room to maneuver, Cap and Battlestar fail to stop them from wrecking the chopper and escaping with their prisoner. The government heroes survive the crash, but their pilot does not. Captain America swears vengeance on the men responsible.

Elsewhere, the other Captain rushes down to the hangar of Serpent Citadel in hopes of catching Viper before she escapes. Since her Serpent Saucer is already taking off, he barely catches onto the underside as it flies away. He doesn't escape Viper's notice, and she does her best to shake him free during the flight. Diamondback takes the rest of Cap's crew and the captive Slither on another saucer in pursuit. When they catch up, Nomad reasons that Cap must not be onboard the other saucer or he would have overpowered Viper by then. He and Diamondback are eager to shoot it down. D-Man protests, but Nomad shouts him down and has Diamondback open fire. The fleeing saucer takes the hit and Viper reluctantly uses the last charge in her teleport ring to abandon ship. Cap, still clinging to the side, is forced to leap off and count on his new vibranium shield to absorb the kinetic energy from the fall. The stunt works and Cap finds Viper on the ground. Viper attacks in desperation, but can't get through the Captain's defenses before he knocks her out and confiscates her teleport ring. When Diamondback, Nomad, and D-Man land to meet up with Steve, they're sheepish about almost killing him by shooting the saucer down, but he smiles and assures them that it all turned out alright.

Meanwhile, Cobra, Copperhead, and Boomslang empty the contents of Viper's canisters into the Washington, D.C. water supply. Falcon had split off from the group to get the word out about Viper's plan once they interrogated Slither about it. At the White House, the President is about to answer the phone just after taking a drink of water.
