Reminder: On Wednesday, July 1, meet the authors of two new novels that tell the stories of Jews in social/historical conflicts--Simone's Zelitch's Waveland, set in Freedom Summer (1964), and Jon Papernicks' "Book of Stone," which follows a young Jew as he descends into fundamentalism. “A Christian-Jewish Exploration of the Struggle for a Just Peace in Israel-Palestine”

 

The Tikkun Olam Chavurah and Germantown Mennonite Church, in partnership with Christian-Jewish Allies of Greater Philadelphia, announces a seven-week course on the history and current realities in Israel-Palestine. The course will run from Wednesday, October 7 through Wednesday, November 18, 7:00-8:30 pm. Location: Germantown Mennonite Church, 21 W. Washington Lane, Philadelphia 19144.
