Dear Chavurah members,

On Saturday, June 20, I'll be joining with many other folks from congregations around the city in Harrisburg. For the following week, POWER members will be taking over the Capitol to impress upon our legislators that we need a fair funding formula used in educating all of our children. Saturday, June 20 is the first day of the takeover, and a time for all of us to stand up and make ourselves heard. The need is urgent. The time is now!

It is also Shabbat, so for the Jewish community, we have an added obligation to "pray with our feet" and make our voices heard. I will be taking part in a Shabbat morning service in a church near the Capitol, and would love to have you join with me! 

We need everyone who can possibly be there join in! Let me know if you're interested and we can take a POWER bus or ride together.
