you must have a SUPER COMPUTER.... try a lower resulion start with 800x400, if you have an INTEL pc, download the "INTEL" engine from the SDK-MANAGER.API19then use "use the GPU" setting and choose the "engine: intel" setting when creating an emulator
I had a problem on Windows 8 64-bit, with fresh installation of Eclipse and Android SDK - Virtual device was starting "forever". I found this thread =android+emulator+forever+launching and link to

I've create a new project in Android Studio; the Fun Facts example. I am however stuck on the "Building 'FunFacts' Gradle project info screen. It says it's downloading Gradle. The Gradle zip is about 50 MB in size and doesn't take long when I download it directly through my browser. So it can't be my internet connection, but Android Studio is showing me screen for the past 3 hours!!
Ok, so within Android Studio I went to File >> Invalidate Caches / Restart and then clicked "Invalidate and Restart". It got passed the Gradle download task, and are now downloading other tools and libraries
Mine still takes forever. I'm going to post a question about the best way to download Gradle, I tried using Homebrew's version but long story, couldn't get it to work. Downloaded version 2.1 from their site but then Android Studio was complaining about wanting version 1.1.... Now it just takes forever to start a project :(
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
On either on or offline mode my Spotify app takes forever to turn from the dark gray background to for instance my Playlist interface. Even in offline mode the app takes a lot of time to "load" a song. Sometimes it pauses the rendition several times during a song or after two or three songs.
I've tried reinstalling it, clearing the cache, restarting my phone etc. As I'm paying for Spotify premium I find it quite disappointing to not be able to rely on the app From time to time it helps to close the app and clear the cache, but it's not fixed in the long run.
Sorry but this seems to be a on going problem since two days ago for me and I have followed all steps above and it has not helped quite frankly I'm disgusted a piece of software I pay money for on a monthly basis is now faulty I might at this point cancel my subscription
Apologies for the radio silence on this thread!
Could you as a first step head to this article and go over all the described complete clean reinstall steps?
This will ensure there's no leftover app data on your devices.
In case the issue comes back after doing this, please leave us the following details:
The odd thing is, that sometimes Spotify also takes ages to load my liked song playlist which I have completely downloaded. Switching between download songs also buffers for a very long time every now and then.
Remember to send us the info @Vasil asked for here. That info we'll help us to investigate further this behavior. Don't forget to let us know all the troubleshooting steps you've followed so far, so we can avoid repeating any of them.
It'll help us a lot if you send us a video recording of this issue as well. You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
I managed to get some screen recordings of the issues I observe, namely libraries just not loading no matter the strength of my internet connection, songs not pausing right away/not resuming, the 3-dot menu not loading, lags between songs (even downloaded ones). These lags happen in a series and it takes a while for the app to "catch up", then it's fine again.
Seeing that all users in this thread are using Samsung devices, we'd recommend checking the suggestions on this site or reaching out to Samsung support for specific steps on how to disable any battery- or memory-optimizing services that might be affecting the app.
I have a Smasung A40, and when I connect it via MTP to get some data off of it, it takes AGES. When I connect it first and attempt to open the phone, it takes a solid 30 seconds before any folder appear, and the same goes if I open any subdirectory. Accessing files also is not particularly fast (like 10s to open a picture)
My google search turned up no results.I am also using a short, USB 3-capabe cable, but the problem still exists, no matter which cable or which USB port I use.I am running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with all updates installed.
MTP is to blame and we can thank Microsoft and Android for that problem. The answer is to either transfer the files using a different protocol like PTP or I would suggest installing a fileserver application like "software data cable" on Android to transfer files wirelessly over your local network or use bluetooth (it's way easier and faster without wires).
Side Note: If you haven't already, install ADB (sudo apt install android-tools-adb) and try transferring the files the same way as before. Sometimes, it solves those problems, and you will still be able to use the graphical file exploreo.
If your phone isn't rooted, you will need to list files from the storage directory or you won't have permission so you can use cd /storage before using ls or you could just list everything recursively using the following command (directories will be blue or white):
If you need an easier method to find the location of your files, you could install a shell on your Android device that has access to the find command using an app called "terminal emulator for Android".
When this happens, many individuals need the messages captured quickly. Additionally, it's essential to save the text messages in a widely compatible document format, ensuring accessibility across various devices. This guarantees that both SMS and iMessages are archived and easily retrievable indefinitely.
Whether you have an iPhone or Android device, figuring out what the best options are to save text messages forever can be exhausting. If you want to be able to keep copies of important SMS text messages and/or Apple iMessages archived indefinitely, today's blog will help you accomplish that task!
Often times the need is sudden and the mobile user has an urgent deadline to transfer the text messages to their PC or Mac. For others, the need is more ongoing where the goal is to regularly save text messages on a weekly or monthly basis throughout the year for documentation purposes.
To copy iPhone text messages to your computer forever you'll need the desktop program Decipher TextMessage. When you run the software on your computer the program will automatically read in any existing iPhone backups that reside on your PC or Mac. You can then save the iPhone text messages as a PDF to your computer.
If you don't see your iPhone in the left-hand column of Decipher TextMessage, all you have to do is backup up the iPhone on your computer or click Add Device and then the next time you open Decipher TextMessage all your text messages and iMessages will be conveniently imported into the program and you can save the SMS messages and print them out.
Note: Decipher TextMessage has a unique "Messages Only" backup option in the menu of the program that will back up only your text message data and not your entire iPhone or iPad. This is helpful if you are worried about not having enough hard drive space to back up your iPhone.
Decipher TextMessage maintains its own text message and iMessage history on your PC or Mac. If you ever lose your mobile phone or your text messages are accidentally erased or deleted on your device, you can then still access all the SMS history that resides in Decipher TextMessage on your computer.
Privacy - When you save text messages forever using Decipher TextMessage, all your text message data is local and private on your personal computer. The user controls everything!
Pro Tip: The text messages also have the time and date stamp on every single message which is helpful for court, legal matters, or any business that need to accurately document who sent and received every single text message!
Once the text messages are saved you can open the PDF document on any computer, tablet, or mobile device and print out the text messages and iMessages. Or you can email the text messages PDF to friends or colleagues.
