Today we released an updated Windows driver for the MC6000MK2 v1.0.3. This release updates the driver to use our latest code and addresses blue screen issues. Also includes an updated driver panel, with new graphics and support for 4K displays. You can download the latest driver from our downloads page below.
If anyone has problems with the driver v1.0.3 and Windows 10 or blue screen because driver and ks.sys:go to program(x86) -> Denon DJ -> MC6000MK2 and set AudioDevMon.exe, DeviceControlServer.exe and DeviceControlServer.exe to Windows 7 compatible. This solved the problem.
Since I borrowed it a friend using Mac it doesn't work propperly on my own setup . It always plays through the soundcard channels 1 and 2 of the DN MC 6000 on external and internal mode. It's no matter if you put the channel to another deck (to channel 3 for example). I updated software, took another mapping, reinstalled drivers but nothing helped. Do you have any idea what is wrong?
The MC6000MK2 appears as a Microphone in the Windows Recording Devices panel and has been enabled. It also appears in the drop down list for input devices in Audacity however when selected no input is detected by Audacity. Any ideas?
A driver for MCX8000 support was previously required on macOS Catalina. This driver is no longer necessary on macOS Big Sur or macOS Monterey and may even prevent communication altogether. We recommend that users uninstall this driver before using the MCX8000 with macOS Monterey.
To uninstall, please download the MCX8000 Mac Driver at denondj.com/downloads. Once downloaded, double-click the .dmg and run the MCX8000 MIDI Uninstaller.
More disconcerting is the fact that Virtual DJ software has decks 1 and 3 on the left and 2 and 4 on the right; however, the order of the 4 channels on the DN-MC6000 is 1,2,3,4 so the two decks on the left of the screen are not controlled by the two physical channels on the left-hand side of the Denon unit.
Denon means business with the DN-MC6000. It is similar in overall functionality to the American Audio VMS4 but in a different league as far as build quality goes, which is of course reflected in the price and the segment of the market Denon is aiming at.
DENON DJ ASIO Driver is a package that contains the driver and the configuration software. The utility available within the suite provides information about the currently used device and it also allows you to enable or disable devices. Audio Buffer Size adjustment is also included.
Compatible with the SC6000, SC6000M and SC5000, SC5000M Dual-Layer Media Players, the LC6000 PRIME provides dedicated control over the players secondary layer. The paring streamlines track selection workflows and expands creative capabilities without the need of a computer.
PLUG AND PLAY
Powered with just the USB connection, the LC6000 gives plug and play a whole new meaning in the DJ booth. An optional power supply is included for situations where bus power is not sufficient.
SEAMLESS LOOPING
Activating Auto Loops on the LC6000 is fluid and effortless. Turn the Auto Loop encoder to select the desired size, and push the encoder in to activate the loop. Active loop regions can also be shifted up and down the track timeline.
For Internal Mode choose your output (1.- for XLR connectors or 2.- for RCA). Additional output 3.- Booth / Send Out
Important: DN-MC6000 MKII is designed to be used as internal mode (with internal Sound Card), but you can use also with DJ ProMixer as external mode (with other/s Sound Card/s and external mixer).
It has EVERY function you can think of across 4 channels simultaneously and is a solid piece of kit. It has been crafted extremely well and has had superior components used in every inch/cm and mm of the unit. It is built to support Traktor or Virtual DJ and from the moment you get the drivers installed everything lights up and all software DJing functions are available at your fingertips.
