Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had issues rendering out freestyle passes.
My scene is quite simple, I have multiple cameras bound to markers on the timeline. and while all the other cameras which are Perspective render quickly and output correctly, the last camera which is orthograpic has issues when it comes to the freestyle rendering, the other frames take around 3.5 mins to render both the normal pass and the freestyle.

This is the only angle that has trouble rendering and I was wondering if its an issue with the orthographic camera?

The FreeStyle Mini LED System consists of four components: FreeStyle Mini LED Fixture, Mounting Plate, Extension Cable and FreeStyle 120 LED DMX Controller. It was designed in this manner to allow the greatest flexibility in lighting solutions for challenging situations.
The FreeStyle Mini LED Fixture is comprised of a an LED panel and Louver. The Louver is held in place with Velcro fasteners. The fixture has a twist-on mating plate to accept a twist-on mount and has molded corners for additional rigging options. The compact lightweight fixture can also be hand-held. The FreeStyle Mini LED DMX Controller firmware is updatable from a PC using the Mini B USB data port.
The Halumin H18 is engineered with durable materials like heavy polyester ripstop laminate, nylon and tempered steel. It has a 18" staging area suitable for lighting small products, full plates of food, bottles and more.
Tactile light forming is incorporated into Halumin's patent pending design as well. The integrated light control rings make it intuitive to fine tune your lighting compositions. Halumin is compatible with multiple kinds of lighting. Out of the box, it can be powered by 1 or 2 speedlights using the included mounting legs. Most brands are compatible but 70ws or higher are recommended for best results. Halumin can also attach to studio strobes and continuous LED lighting via the optional Studio Lighting Adapter (SLA). Studio strobes up to 500ws are ideal. Continuous LED lighting should be limited to fixtures that produce 5400lux @ 1meter (around 120 watts in most cases) to prevent heat damage. Studio Lighting Adapters are included in the Master Set and Studio Set.
I want to do flat 2d shadows on a 3d mesh for that cartoon effect in blender. The problem is, from my research, is the human eye can always detect when the shadow wraps perfectly around the mesh, giving it a 3d look and this becomes more obvious when it is animated. I first thought of using the shrink-wrap modifier to make a plane stick to another mesh's body then manually changing its shape based on camera angle to make it look flat, but that would become tedious the more shadow shapes that I need. Then I thought of rigging a texture or making a shadow texture on a mesh that changes shape based on lighting, but I don't know how to go about that....
Notice how the models look flatter or more 2d after the edit.Another point is, I want the inside to sort of lag behind or go in the opposite direction of the mesh volume like it is reluctant to part with the camera front view. This post Animated texture that depends on camera perspectiveshows similar to what I want for the outlines/some shadow behavior as well, but instead of fully being projected or fully biased to camera front view, it also follows the mesh, just more slowly/half way/reluctantly so it is not completely static when animated. This effect I want with the outlines, any textures, shadow shapes, or any mesh shrink wrapped to the surface of the main mesh.

The FreeStyle T44 LED Fixture from Kino Flo is an LED lamp head that is part of a system or kit that is powered the separately-purchased, required LED 140X DMX Controller. The FreeStyle 144 requires a head cable and controller for use. The controller offers an extensive 6-channel array of control features and use options. Using one of the color menus expands the Kelvin range from a warm 2500 to an ice-blue 9900K. The second color menu allows you to work with RGB, a real convenience when employing color wheels or RGB presets. The fourth channel (named the Gel channel) has presets for over 100 well-known temperature-modifying gels including blue/green screen, sodium vapor, and mercury vapor.
A fifth channel allows for Hue adjustments along a 360-degree range like a color wheel, while the 6th Saturation channel controls the intensity of the chosen color. The controller has onboard DMX for making adjustments remotely from a console and also is compatible with Lumen Radio wireless DMX. The controller runs on 100 to 240 VAC current for worldwide use. But can also run on "block" batteries when mains power is unavailable.

This Kino Flo FreeStyle 140 LED DMX Controller for FreeStyle T44 Bulbs comes with a power cord for running on 120 VAC while controlling and powering up to four T44 LED tubes. The controller features four modes that provide near total control of the output of the LED tubes (LED tubes not included). In white mode, the unit drives LED tubes output light with a color temperature range between 2700 to 6500K. It also enables dimming and green/magenta adjustment. Gels/Hue expands the color temperature range to 2500 to 9900K while providing access to background keying presets and over 100 lighting gel looks.
RGB mode provides access to the individual red, green, and blue LED luminaries for precise control. FX Mode provides customizable presets.
