Running a TigerVNC server on a Linux Mint 17.2 server
Trying to use the default Mac OS X Screen Sharing client

The clipboard seems to only work 1 way: from the server to the client (copy on the server, paste on the client). The other way (copy on the client paste on the server) is usually more important, e.g. you're reading something in the browser on the client and need to paste a command on the server.

Any tricks to getting it to work both ways?

Thanks.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

Yes it does, but the TigerVNC client doesn't do scaling like the Mac client does and I don't want to resize the server session when it doesn't fit on the screen, I'd rather just scale it down only on the clients that don't have big screens.

The TigerVNC Java client can do screen scaling.

As can the TurboVNC Viewer, which is based on the TigerVNC Java code but
also has accelerated JPEG decoding and other goodies.
