Hi,

I want to share my vnc session after initiating the session at any time.

Although it has option to share, while creating a new session with specified users but same is not possible after creating vnc session.

please let me know, if there is any way to tweak the configuration for the desired changes.

your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks

How are you starting your server? It should always be possible to
connect provided you can authenticate.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

Hi Pierre,

We start the server using "vncserver -securityTypes=TLSPlain,VeNcrypt -PlainUsers=<user1>,<user2> -pam_service=login"

This was we only can share with user1 & user2 . But if at any point of time i want to share it with user3 , how can i achieve it.

Please advise

Add:

-AllowOverride=desktop,AcceptPointerEvents,SendCutText,AcceptCutText,SendPrimary,SetPrimary,PlainUsers

To your argument line. Then from inside the session you can do:

vncconfig -set PlainUsers=<user1>,<user2>,<user3>

Thanks Pierre, That works like a charm.

One last question, is it possible to have the user, who started the vncserver, should always be part of PlainUsers irrespective of whether specifically mentioned in command line or not.
