Hello All,

Can someone help me how do I use VNCViewer64.exe to connect to a tigervnc-server(with X590Vnc security type)?. I'm always getting "Error Loading X509 Cert or Key file".

As there are no "Browse" buttons to locate & load X509 Cert & Key files in VNCViewer(on both Windows & Linux versions), how do I load or give paths to X509 Cert & Key files on Windows VNCViewer. This isn't an issue on Linux VNCViewer, as I was able to give a relative path to those files on Linux VNCViewer either on GUI screen itself or through command-line(parameters) but on Windows VNCViewer GUI whatever path (full path like C:\Users\XXX\Desktop\some.pem or c:/users/xxx/desktop/some.pem or just some.pem(relative path) while the VNCViewer64-1.9.0.exe is on same directory as some.pem) I give it always says "Error Loading X509 Cert or Key file". And it seems I can't pass parameters to VNCViewer64.exe from command-line as I can do with Linux binary from a terminal in Linux.

Or is there any other VNC Viewer software for Windows that can be used to access tigervnc-server with X509Vnc. I tried UltraVNC Viewer & RealVNC viewer but both don't work.

Regards.

I tried it here and could not reproduce your issue. In my case the path
was H:\tmp\self.pem. It also works fine with command line parameters.
What was the parameters you tried?

Neither of those support that extension unfortunately. GTKVNC does, but
I'm unsure if it is available on Windows.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
