Hi,
I'm assuming when latest GNOME reaches final, using TigerVNC to have a GNOME session won't be possible.
If that is so, I'll have to migrate to GDM-managed RDP sessions to allow for full remote login (instead of just screen sharing).
1) did I make some wrong assumption?

2) are you considering supporting [somehow] what is currently just a alpha or pre-alpha, wayback to have again TigerVNC-based GNOME sessions?

Thanks,
Pedro

That is correct. Headless GNOME will not be possible to use with any
other remote desktop system than their own once their next release drops.

We're investigating new approaches to support GNOME and other Wayland
only desktops, but we don't have anything tangible yet.

Wayback will not allow you to run GNOME on TigerVNC. It's for the other
way around. It allows you to run X11 desktops without an X server. It's
basically Xwayland for desktops instead of just applications.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
