Tigervncserver Starting applications specified in /etc/X11/Xvnc-session has failed

I'm trying to start the VNC server on my Ubuntu 20.04 machine but when I run "vncserver" command it gives me this error:

/usr/bin/xauth: /home/atef/.Xauthority not writable, changes will be ignored
/usr/bin/xauth: /home/atef/.Xauthority not writable, changes ignored
/usr/bin/xauth: /home/atef/.Xauthority not writable, changes will be ignored
/usr/bin/xauth: /home/atef/.Xauthority not writable, changes ignored

New 'MyXubuntu:1 (atef)' desktop at :1 on machine MyXubuntu

Starting applications specified in /etc/X11/Xvnc-session
Log file is /home/atef/.vnc/MyXubuntu:1.log

Use xtigervncviewer -SecurityTypes VncAuth -passwd /home/atef/.vnc/passwd :1 to connect to the VNC server.

vncserver: Failed command '/etc/X11/Xvnc-session': 256!

Starting applications specified in /etc/X11/Xvnc-session has failed.
Maybe try something simple first, e.g.,
tigervncserver -xstartup /usr/bin/xterm

when I run tigervncserver -xstartup /usr/bin/xterm it works but I can't connect to it from the client side. any help?

Ubuntu and Debian uses their own startup script, so in general it's not
something we can support here.

But those errors indicate some permission problem with either your home
directory, or the .Xauthority file itself. Make sure your user is
allowed to write to that file, and hopefully that will resolve your error.
