My environment is: Fedora-Xfce-armhfp-29_Beta-1.2-sda,

That is Fedora 29-beta for the armv7 SOC with the Xfce DE.

This includes tigervnc-server-1.9.0-2.fc29.armv7hl.rpm

I kind of got Xfce working by changing the ending of ~/.vnc/xstartup to:

# exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
exec /bin/sh /etc/xdg/xfce4/xinitrc
xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
startxfce4 &

Note that currently, the is no .Xresources file.

The reason I say kindof, is I get all sorts of sizing, GEOMETRY? errors.
When I connect from F28 tipgervnc client, it seems to display properly even with these
errors in the log.

But more importantly I get an error on the first connect after starting the service.
The dialog box says: "Error - XFCE PolicyKit Agent".
There is an old bug on PolicyKit that I updated:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=484945

But it may well be that I am not invoking Xfce properly. I googled XFCE DE via VNC
and did not find any helpful hints. I did get a couple responses from the Fedora
users list that got me this far.

So please, what is the PROPER invocation for Xfce? And what is with the
PolicyKit error?

BTW, I really strongly dislike Google groups. This is going to my wrong email; the
one on my phone that I just don't use. My 25+ year old email is messed up in Google
groups and their answer to fix it is to change my email address. Not likely. So after
I get some help, I will be unsubscribing.

Thank you for the product and any help with it.

Could you share exactly what these error say?

Yeah, the whole shared d-bus thing is a bit of a mess. I'm experimenting
with a new startup for vncserver, but it's not really usable yet.

Until then you could try adding this to your startup script:

dbus-update-activation-environment --all --systemd

They try to hide it, but you can use google groups without a google
account. If you use the subscribe links on tigervnc.org you can specify
an email address. You need to be logged out of google first though.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
