Hi,

this problem is probably not related to tigervnc, but I figured you guys might have a clue.
so I have a server running tigervncserver, and that server does not have any physical monitor connected to it at all.

I can sucessfully login to that server with tigervncviewer, and everything works perfect.
however, the client has two monitors which I would like to use in my vnc session.
setting the dual monitor options in tigervncviewer will still show just one screen perfectly, but the second monitor is completely black.

xrandr shows two monitors, VNC-0 and VNC-1
thats why I assume maybe tigervnc has nothing to do with that. maybe it is my linux configuration?

anybody has a clue?
Thanks

P.S - I suspect that the two displays are actually rendered on top each other on the same physical display, does that make any sense?

Might the client be a mac? If so, then it's a known limitation where
applications cannot span multiple monitors by default on macOS. If you
change the system setting "Displays have separate Spaces" then things
should work better.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

One of the clients was a mac and it had that setting enabled
the other client I tried was a windows but no luck there as well

is there a way to turn on debug information to let me see if tigervnc is aware of the second screen?
