In a Ubuntu 20.04 VM started by QEMU, after implementing GUP (GPU Passthrough) and setting the following environment variables:

export __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME='nvidia' export NVIDIA_DRIVER_CAPABILITIES='all' export __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD='1'

occasionally encountering a black screen or crash when starting glxgears.

We'll need a bit more to go on. What is crashing? Where is TigerVNC
involved here, and how is it set up?

TigerVNC version is 1.15.0(latest). I copied the file /usr/lib/systemd/system/vncserver@.service to /etc/systemd/system/vncserver@.service and started it using the command systemctl enable vncserver@:1.service

Furthermore, I have already entered :1=huijiecai in the /etc/tigervnc/vncserver.users file.

That's a good start. Where are you seeing a crash? Have you checked the
user's journal with "journalctl --user"? Do you have anything in
vncserver's logfile in ~/.local/state/tigervnc?
