Hello, I am trying to setup tigervnc to automatically start as a systemd unit on fedora 42. I'd like to assign a session for each user (so using vncserver.users) and have only managed to make this work with xfce4, not with gnome.

Is there a place where I can find complete documentation? Everything I seem to find online (including official Fedora docs) is either incomplete or just does not work

(I might also be doing something wrong, but I feel like I have tried almost everything and it just won't work properly)

If it works with Xfce, then it sounds like your TigerVNC setup is
correct. It might be some GNOME issue instead. What errors are you seeing?

The documentation we have is the service HOWTO:

https://github.com/TigerVNC/tigervnc/blob/master/unix/vncserver/HOWTO.md

And the man pages for more details:

https://tigervnc.org/doc/vncsession.html
https://tigervnc.org/doc/Xvnc.html

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
