how to enable chat option and securing the connection?

hello,

I have installed and configured tigervnc on my oracle linux 7.6 machine. Everything works good except two issues:

when I VNC the machine from my personal windows desktop, I see the chat option is greyed, that is I cannot initiate a chat session over the VNC which I can do on any other Windows machine.

Second issue is, the connection is not encrypted, how can I enable encryption to the connection? If I select Always on from the encryption settings on VNC viewer, it gives the following message:

"Unable to connect to VNC Server using you chosen security setting. Either upgrade VNC Server to a more recent version from RealVNC, or relect a weaker level of encryption"

Is there any way to fix these two issues? I know I am using the latest version of tigerVNC.

I'm afraid we do not support the chat extension of RealVNC.

Unfortunately RealVNC is keeping their encryption extension secret, so
we cannot be compatible with it.

However TigerVNC implements another extension called VeNCrypt. If you
use our client then you can get an encrypted connection.
