I'm being forced to use TigerVNC 1.13.1 on Windows by my IT people, and it has one feature that is really annoying me versus the RealVNC that I used to use.
I have a 2560x1440 monitor on my Windows machine, and I open the vncserver with 2500x1250 on an Alma 9.1 machine, which should show just fine in a window on my desktop, but instead it gets resized to 2048x1104, destroying the window placement.
There are no options I can find in the client to disable this.  There's nothing in the Display settings, and the F8 menu has a "Resize window to session" option with no checkbox, but by then it's too late anyway.  What can I do?

I found that part of the issue was that I was using 125% scaling on my main monitor.  I found something online that told me to go to the actual "vncviewer" application and in the Properties set the high DPI scaling to "Application".  I also appended  -AcceptSetDesktopSize=0 to the command line on the Linux side when starting the VNC server.  It seems to be working as I would expect now.
