TigerVNC password login issue

Hello,

There is a shared server between a number of people (Linux)

Until recently we needed to put both the individual  username and the password.

but now only the password,  and some people can't login.

are there any known issues with it ? that might lead me to solve it ?

for example, is the problem in the: 

.vnc/xstartup

file ? 

i have added a picture for the current login menu.

Are you using vnc through xinetd? Or some other setup? Which Linux distribution?  And what version of TigerVNC?
