While I am very grateful for this software, I have a problem with the updates.

There are now hundreds of manuals on the internet that are outdated because TigerVNC keeps changing the parameters, configuration files, locations, etc.

Shall we not use it and wait until the software is "settled" if ever?

I have been struggling with documentation trying to set it up under Fedora 42.
NO GUIDE or AI model (chatgpt / deepseek) has the correct information so far.

Developers: Please consider your poor users. Every time something is "deprecated" or "removed from upstream", we are not only losing our current setup, but also we are UNABLE to install TigerVNC altogether because so much documentation points to last week's parameters!

Could you give some examples of what issues you've seen?

We generally try to make migration as seamless as possible so that
existing users are unaffected. E.g. we recently started using the
standard XDG directories (like ~/.config). But that's only for new
users. If your files are in the old ~/.vnc catalog, then we will still
use those.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
