[Tigersmoon Central] The return of the Teapot

I have been slowly making a number of teapots, though now I think I am going to start a series of thrown teapots. I want them all to have a whimsical feel about them rather then just traditional clean look. I know that I am not a great tea drinker, but to me there is something about a Teapot that makes one want to be a kid again. Perhaps it was a few too many times singing ‘I’m a little teapot, short and stout…”, or my many times watching Disney’s Alice In Wonderland at the Mad Hatters Tea Party.
What ever the reason I have always loved the idea of the teapot and all that the nistalga that gose with it. Perhaps one of the odd parts is my feeling that there is no need for cups of mugs to match, though I do feel that why it dose not have to be practical it should be useful. I do not like the idea of making a teapot that will not do it’s job, even if the amount of tea held is only a thimble full, and it drips on the table cloth, it will work.
