Anyone else noticing tiny ants invading kitchens around Cambridge?

Lately I’ve been seeing a trail of those tiny black ants marching across the kitchen counter  mostly near the sink and pantry. I live in Cambridge, but a friend from Waterloo said the same thing’s happening at her place too. Guess they’re escaping the colder weather and moving indoors.

I did the usual stuff wiped down everything with vinegar, sealed up sugar and cereal, even used some store gel bait. Worked for a few days, then they came right back. Finally called PestiXpert Pest Control Services local folks who actually inspected the source instead of just spraying over it. They used a low-odor, pet-safe method that cleared it up within a couple of days.
