Hawk Mountain Hiking on Saturday

Dear Friends,

We are planning on going hiking to Hawk Mountain (website) on Saturday. Hawk Mountain is a little less than two hours from Center City, Philadelphia. We will be carpooling and leaving from the church at 1701 Delancey at 10:00 AM and will be arriving at around Noon (12:30 latest) at Hawk Mountain, just in time for lunch (everyone should bring their own lunch, snacks for the hike, plenty of water, warm clothes and good shoes!). We will be hiking up the mountain in the afternoon and then heading back to the city at 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM, so we will be back by 7:00 PM. We may go on a guided hike - either way, there will be a lot of beautiful foliage, and we will see some hawks flying around!

We have a list together of people providing rides and people giving rides. If you have not yet emailed me to RSVP, please do so today. If you will need a ride, I will put you on a waiting list to see if we can get you a ride. If you have a car and can provide rides, please let me know, because we could use you!
