FRIDAY LECTURE

As you know, we have two presentations to give this Friday. Ms. V's
presentation will be at 10am but we need to be set up and ready to
roll before that time so if you have visuals/hardware that you need to
set up, please arrive by 930am in room 2004 of Calit2. Please
remember as you create or think of what to say during the presentation
that she isnt going to be as interested in the engineering so much as
what effect your projects will have on the kids and the center. So if
you have super technical stuff, try to make it so that it can be
understood by anyone, including those without science backgrounds. Our
other presentation is for Mandy and the rest of TIES at 1pm in Center
216. This one is technical so go ahead and show off what youve been
busy with all quarter! :] Remember that we are being limited to
strictly 10 minutes so make your slides/explanations as concise as
possible, without lacking any of the necessary information.
Also, if you havent yet emailed Chris about your slides, or the part
of the presentation that he assigned to you, please make sure you do
so by the end of tonight/lunchtime tomorrow at the latest as he and I
are working on the powerpoint tonight. Making two separates slides
might be helpful so that we can differentiate between what you want to
go in depth with at the client presentation and that which youll
mention during TIES.
