| 🚨 URGENT: A DECISION HAS TO BE MADE TODAY • TALA NEEDS US |
|
| TALA WAS RESCUED ALIVE. TODAY, WE NEED TO DECIDE WHAT WE CAN AFFORD TO DO NEXT. |
|
Birgitt,
I need to be very open with you about Tala today.
Her appeal has received far fewer donations than we hoped.
And today, our team has to start making decisions about what happens next.
I hate making decisions like this.
Because when somebody tells me what Tala needs, I don’t want to have to ask:
“Can we afford it?”
I want to be able to say yes.

TALA — EMERGENCY FUNDING UPDATE
VERY FEW DONATIONS HAVE COME IN
Today, we need to know how much care we can confidently say YES to.
|
|
|
Birgitt, Tala has already suffered enough.
When my team and I found her at a roadside dog slaughterhouse in Pangasinan, she had been forced inside a canvas sack and was suffocating.
She couldn’t escape.
She couldn’t defend herself.
And if we had arrived too late, I don’t believe Tala would be here today.
But we did get there.
We pulled her out of that sack.
We got her away from the slaughterhouse.
We gave Tala the chance to live.
|
| After everything Tala has already endured, I want the answer to every question about the care she needs to be one simple word: YES. |
|
|
Yes to the treatment she needs.
Yes to the veterinary care that keeps her safe and comfortable.
Yes to giving her every chance we possibly can after everything she has survived.
But without enough funding, those decisions become much harder.
Birgitt, will you make a gift for Tala today so that when we’re asked what she needs, we can simply say: “Yes. Do it.”?

| ⏰ TODAY: OUR TEAM HAS TO MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT TALA’S NEXT STEPS |
|
I’ve spent more than 20 years investigating cruelty.
There are times when you have to make incredibly difficult decisions with the resources you have available.
Those are the decisions I hate most.
Tala didn’t choose to end up inside that sack.
She didn’t choose what happened to her at that slaughterhouse.
But we can choose what happens now.
If you can give anything today — even a small amount — it will help give us more freedom to say YES to what Tala needs.

Thank you for standing behind us when these decisions are difficult.

P.S. Tala has received far fewer donations than we hoped, and today we have to make decisions about her next steps. I desperately want us to be able to say yes to everything she needs. If you can help, please make an urgent gift for Tala today.
