That doesn't mean we don't need an even bigger group of developers working on the product or taking responsibilities of certain areas in the project. We also need people doing QA and regular testing on our product. The development community of SeaMonkey is structured into project areas which cover different parts of the SeaMonkey project. Many of those still need help from more developers; if you want to lend us a hand there, please contact seamonke...@mozilla.org.
Since i am not familiar with Python, any hint about those sys.prefix, virtualenv things is welcome, i have no idea what it means. Also, why would it pull Python 2.7 and then say it uses Python 3?
Can anyone confirm a recent successful build of seamonkey from AUR?
Today opensuse update with about 3700 packages. Including a new Seamonkey update to seamonkey-2.53.15-1.14.x86_64
Directly after reboot I tried Seamonkey and youtube. No difference. Start Youtube, no problem. Opening a video, crash.
ATTENTION!
A backup of the profiles folder MUST be taken in advance.
Other precaution must also be taken due to major changes in the source code.

and it finally loaded the Seamonkey page after whitelisting it, but came up with this error: Sorry for the formatting. Would not paste graphic so had to "grab text"

Down loaded the beta pre release and launched successfully. After a few minutes crashed. Unrelated to the original issue I'm sure but I don't have any explicit steps to reproduce for now. Attach stack as seamonkey-2.53.15b1pre 2022-11-08 crash in case it is of some use.
