Dear friends,
Hi, it’s that time of year when mass emails are something we all avoid, but this is energising news we couldn’t wait to share with you all!
reFrame has just put out its call for applications for g3: genderalities&work fellowships, and we’re reaching out to you to apply as artists, individuals, and collectives of filmmakers, writers, installation artists, painters, illustrators, graphic novelists, new media artists, podcasters, performers, musicians... etc.
Also in case, you can think of friends, colleagues, teachers, trainers, CBO/NGO folks, activists, and others who would be interested, please do spread the word.
The thematic focus of this year’s call is for works that reflect, expose, confront and challenge the spaces, conditions, opportunities and obstacles of being women, queer and trans* folks at work.
In our first 2 years, we have awarded 21 fellowships for artistic projects on the challenges of life and living as women, trans* and/or queer folks in these increasingly regressive times. You’ll find more on the works we have been able to help create here.
At reFrame, we welcome submissions from the young & old, aspiring & established, classical & experimental folks who may be exploring different artistic ways to say what they have to, individually or collectively.
The last date for Submission of Proposals is 02 January 2023.
