Dear All,
As you might be aware, TiE Bangalore Clean Tech SIG is working with the Science and Innovation Network of British High Commission and University of Cambridge, to develop Bangalore Cambridge Innovation Network (BCIN). The vision of BCIN is to foster links between academics, businesses, researchers and entrepreneurs from both the cities leveraging upon each others’ ecosystems for mutual benefit. The BCIN aims to provide a platform to exchange ideas, technologies, build research and business collaborations, commercialise technology and provide access to new markets.
The BCIN launch is being organized on 13th September where the Vice Chancellor of Cambridge along with a delegation from Cambridge University will be participating. The event will start at lunch time with a plenary. The plenary will be followed by working sessions in parallel ( which is by invitation only) to see if we can articulate the value proposition for the BCIN. The goal is to work together to make this a success and develop closer links. Cleantech is one of the six areas identified for developing a roadmap for BCIN. The detailed agenda for the event is at the end of this email and can also be found at http://www.cambridge-india.org/bangalore2012/.
Participation is free, but prior registration is compulsory. To register please send an email with your details to bangal...@admin.cam.ac.uk
I look forward to seeing you.
Thanks and best regards,
Sunil
