first-of-its-kind cooling solutions summit which will bring together
innovators, policymakers, industry leaders, development agencies, nonprofits,
philanthropists, venture capitalists, start-ups, and air-conditioning experts
to discuss on how we can provide cooling to all, without warming the planet.

This solutions summit is co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology,
Government of India and Mission Innovation and has the support of several

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the Hon'ble Union Minister of Science and Technology,
Government of India, will launch the Global
Cooling Prize, as well as the 'Cooling Solutions' report on November
12, amidst high-level delegates from across the globe at the
summit. The launch will be followed by panel discussions on innovations in
cooling, policymakers' perspectives on national policies to tackle the cooling
challenge, and scaling and investment of breakthrough cooling innovations.
On November
13, we are looking to host AC industry incumbents, innovators and
experts from all across the globe to share their work on innovative
cooling technology solutions with financial institutes, VCs and judges of the
Global Cooling Prize. We will also be hosting other detailed information
sessions on the prize criteria, testing protocol, participant support
activities, and share information about the final award on this day.
