It has been over a month that I have joined the Google Cloud Startup team and my journey with entrepreneurs and Startups continues.

 I am writing to share an exciting opportunity with you all who wish to join the Google Launchpad Accelerator Program, we have opened up the applications this year for Startups working on some exciting products in AI/ML focussed on Solve for India.

Dear Entrepreneurs, Over the last 3.5 years, hundreds of startups from India have experienced the best of Google's mentor network, resources, and technology via Launchpad activities. In the past 2 years, thirty Indian startups have joined our global Launchpad Accelerator program, helping them collectively raise over $70M and seeing revenue increases of almost 500%.  In 2017, we piloted Solve-For-India, a pan-India roadshow covering 15 cities to connect with developers and startups and truly understand the pulse and needs of our tech ecosystem that is building for India. This culminated in a Launchpad bootcamp. Building on the efforts of the Launchpad program till date and integrating our learnings from Solve-For-India, we are thrilled to announce Launchpad Accelerator India - a Bengaluru based, 3 month support program for promising startups that are solving India specific challenges using AI/ML.  We are thankful that you are part of our journey in helping us find the best startups, founders and mentors. We are looking to grow our ecosystem even further with this new India based initiative. --- Spread the Word!  Applications for the first class is now open until July 31, 12pm IST and the 1st class will begin in September 2018, where shortlisted startups will get to attend a two week in-person bootcamp in Bengaluru followed by 3 months of tailored support. Startups can Apply here Startups will need to meet the following criteria for Launchpad Accelerator India:  Be a technology startup Be based in India Seed to Growth stage Address a challenge that is specific to India  Use advanced technology like AI/ML to power the solution Each class will consist of upto 10 startups who will receive mentorship and support from the best of Google in AI/ML, Cloud, UX, Android, Web, Product Strategy and Marketing.
