Dear All,

I am the Managing Partner of a Bangalore-based advisory and consulting services firm, named Ecoforge Advisors (www.ecoforge.in), focused on Clean Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Access in developing countries. We have worked/continue to work on transaction advisory and consulting assignments/projects in South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal) South East Asia (Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam), Central Asia (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan) and East Africa (Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya). Our clients include private companies, commercial banks, development banks/agencies and others.

We are currently hiring for the following job positions:

Senior Analyst (Full-time Position, Bangalore-based with domestic and international travel)

We are looking for a Senior Analyst with work experience in clean energy/energy access/sustainability/sustainable transport. Experience in finance or transaction advisory or investment banking or management consulting with a focus on clean energy and/or infrastructure is preferred. International work experience in developing countries of Asia and Africa will be an added advantage.

Work content would include building excel-based financial models, conducting primary and secondary research, writing reports/concept notes/proposals, preparing and delivering training programs to various stakeholders on clean energy finance, and representing the company at various industry conferences and events. The position is a full-time role based in our office in Bangalore, and requires travel for about 25-30% of the time. The selected candidate will get to work with Ecoforge's exciting ongoing and upcoming assignments in the areas of transaction advisory/investment banking, management consulting and fund management in South Asia, South East Asia and Africa.

The role is ideal for someone with about 2-4 years of overall experience in clean energy/energy access/energy efficiency/sustainable transport or infrastructure finance and an MBA degree or a Masters degree in Finance/Public Policy or related programs. Candidate should be able to build robust financial models in excel and write well in English, and have good analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work in teams and with clients and partners of various nationalities will be a key attribute.

Intern (Bangalore-based with domestic travel) - 6 months internship

We are looking for an intern with or without work experience in clean energy/energy access/sustainability/sustainable transport/infrastructure finance. The candidate needs to have an educational background (Bachelors or Masters in Finance or Public Policy or an MBA) and a strong interest in building a career in finance or transaction advisory or investment banking or management consulting for clean energy and/or infrastructure industries.

Work content would include working with senior team members in building excel-based financial models, conducting primary and secondary research, assisting in drafting reports/concept notes/proposals. The position is a 6-month full-time internship based in our office in Bangalore. The candidate will get to work with Ecoforge's exciting ongoing and upcoming assignments in the areas of transaction advisory/investment banking, management consulting and fund management in South Asia, South East Asia and Africa.

The role is ideal for a fresher or someone with upto 1 year of overall experience in clean energy/energy access/energy efficiency/sustainable transport or infrastructure finance and a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Management/Engineering/Commerce or an MBA degree or a Masters degree in Finance/Public Policy or related programs.Candidate should be able to build robust financial models in excel (or willing to learn these skills) and write well in English, and have good analytical skills. Ability to work in teams and with clients and partners of various nationalities will be a key attribute.

The internship is a paid position, and we offer suitable compensation; based on performance, this position could be converted into a full-time analyst role after 6 months.
