Indian branch of a US top 30 MBA using local Indian established partner

Hi All,

I have come across contacts with a US top 30 school who wishes to start their branch in India for MBA. I have also identified an Indian partner who is in Education line with many colleges from over 3 generations. 

I would like help understanding the process, regulations, recognition, affiliations with Bangalore University etc. I will be responsible for partly investing in this project and also bringing the two parties together in the deal making.

Has anyone in this group done this before and can guide me in this endeavor? I am also willing to engage in partnership with this individual/company who is interested.
