Dear listers.

I have another issue in fitting my models. For model VVI, I get “NAs” for > 5 profiles. I added function priorControl() to fix this and it worked. But now I am unsure about the results as BIC has a huge bump indicating better model fit while the model could not be estimated before. Do you have any thoughts on how to deal with that? You can see the differences here:

# BIC without priorControl

1 -127005.8

2 -121027.1

3 -119558.0

4 -118765.7

5 -118293.6

6  NA

7  NA

8  NA

9  NA

# BIC with priorControl

1 -127006.0

2 -121028.2

3 -119560.0

4 -118771.7

5 -118296.9

6 -112761.8

7 -112579.7

8 -112353.3

9 -112460.2
