First and foremost I must say that Tidy Plates is a great add-on,
definitely a must for me.
But I would like to customize it a little bit more to my liking,
Recently I have been getting into Lua editing and was wondering if
there was a way to keep the name color from turning white when a
target comes into range for the plate to appear. I use the Quatre
theme and liked the font enouf that I use it as my full WoW Font now.
Also is there a way to extend the range that the plates appear?
I know that it's just a cosmetic thing but it would be nice.

The range can't be extended, unfortunately.
I'm not sure what your first question is about, though. The name text
is white by default. You can change (using the Hub panel) the
coloring mode of the text, which will set the text to different
colors, depending on condition and data availability.
