Welcome to the TIDES Project Google Group. TIDES is the Transit ITS Data Exchange Specification.. The two objectives of TIDES are 1) to create a standard data structure and APIs for historical transit ITS data (AVL, APC, AFC data) and 2) to develop standard data integration, data quality, and data aggregation processes built upon those data structures/APIs. The two goals of TIDES are 1) to help transit agencies that have difficulty accessing and management their ITS data, and 2) to facilitate the sharing of reports, tools, and analytics among transit agencies, researchers, consultants and vendors.
