Your collaboration is needed

I am a bit weary of the enormous inertia that exists to move people, even on such an important task as documenting TW.

This morning I weak up and my first effor is the beginning of the manual.

Although I have never done so, I would like to coordinate our coordinated efforts to carry out this project. I beg your help.I need writers for articles. Tell me who you want to collaborate and we will start with it.

I have already done the cover page and the first propossal index. I will write it in the Lyx editor (https://www.lyx.org/) because its features:

• It is a free open source proyect,
• It writes in the high cuality Latex framework.
• It's multiplatform.
• It's easy to install.
  

My curriculum as a writer: you can read my other manual: go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/freeplane/files/freeplane%20stable/ and download the "Manual_de_Freeplane_en_espanol-v1.1.pdf" file.

I applaud your effort-- and you did the best option to deal with the "inertia"-- started the ball rolling yourself : )

I shall see what I can do to help your effort-- just about done with what I was putting forward for user documentation outside of TWcom.  But I can't guarantee anything-- time is growing short and I'm becoming useless to people...

very decent idea.

I've working on my TW manual called TWMan. It's not published because it's at the very early stage. Please find attached ToC of TWMan.

Before making decision of getting on the board of your project let me first put my certain consideration on how the TW manual has to be looked like:

1. The principal problem of TW little global use is that the even user (who are not and are not going to be programmers!) can not easily acquire necessary skills and knowledge which make TW much more attractive. The TW manual should care of even users first. You can see evidence of that thought in my ToC of TWMan (attached).
2. I see advantages of making the TW manual for many languages in parallel. Personally I'm ready to take care of the Ukrainian branch.
3. To my knowledge LyX is a tool used locally at one's personal computer. I'm just wondering how do see utilization of github.com for developing the TW manual by a team. It would be natural to have a version of the TW manual in Tiddlywiki format.

It would be nice to hear from you on the issues. Thanks

Don't worry for lyx app. You can write in the text editor you want and I will include it in the main file.

Now I am writting chapters 1 and 2. I know the collaboration is hard to get but I don't mind. I will succeed in this personal proyect.I only need your collaboration later with the concepts I don't know as the Navigation History, al Mechanisms, and some advanced concepts.

This is a first sample of what we can get with chapter 1 and some content of chapter 2.

P.S._ I have a mac with lyx installed. There is a latex app for mac too. Look for miktex. But don't worry. Write. Its the only.
