[TW5] Add a new field Drop Down

Greetings,
I am wondering if anyone else has dicussed or developed a drop down option list for the 'Add a new field'? I'm working on developing one. I would like it to be editable also but not sure yet how to do that. Here is what I'm working on http://t5a.tiddlyspot.com/#Add%20a%20new%20field%20Drop%20Down

It has been mentioned before but I am not aware of anyone actually making any progress on it. It would be a very useful addition. I would start by looking at how the type field input works. It should be defined in the tiddler $:/core/ui/EditTemplate/type
I don't know if it is something that would be added to the core, but if you make a plugin I would use it in all of my wikis.

Sorry I am not following.  Are you wanting to make a drop-list that creates a new field with the name selected from the list?

Instead of just a text box for the field name, I want a combo box or popup that lets me either pick from previously used field names or type in something. Just like how the Type field and the content type works.
