I recived and "visual" ad to my gmail. I peeked at the code and confirmed it is html.

However, trying to past in the source from an exported html tiddler into a gmail, I don't get it to actually process but instead get the code showing.

Also if I copy-paste the ads source code into a TW, I do get the ad showing. But, copy-pasting the source code from an exported html tiddler, into a TW, does not give anything.

I'm not saying the latter experiment should work, I'm just curious to why the ad works both as an email and as tiddler while the html-tiddler does neither. They both seem encapsulated with similar <!doctype html><html><head> etc.

Thank you!

Hi Mat

Did you set the type of the tiddler to text/html? It would be easier to tell what's going on if you could post the code you copied and pasted.

Best wishes

Jeremy.

Doh, of course! Works now! Thank you Jeremy - both the tiddler and the ad code show up as content in a tiddler.

@anyone
Has anyone experimented with emailing tiddlers? I found some, for tiddlers, less functional ways using methods to include html in gmail. It would be cool to send tiddlers as email messages which, at this stage I guess would mean to export the tiddler into a separate file and then copy it from there, which is what I am trying in the above gmail experimenting. (Both Larry and Sergei seem clueless when I ask.)
