Hi all,

Having learned a valuable lesson the hard way last week (rewritting the wheel - TW5 comes complete with flashing lights and subforms!) I have become a little gun shy and want to avoid a similar mistake today. After looking over existing implementations of the xapi javascript codes I wish to use in my project. I now realize what is actually going on could best be done posting simple json data directly from the TW5 file to a server (xapi LRS learing record store) and by using native elements already in TW5 it would allow much more control of how and what data is captured and reported on a per need basis!  I know there are native html5 post methods but I am not sure TW5 does not have a better native methods to send the json data. For example dealing with encryption, stripping formatting, etc...

Any suggestions?

I was planning something very similar! But I wanted to post the data to a Google apps script. All that I can say is that tiddlywiky has a httppost method. I think it is under $tw.utils.makeHTTPrequest. You can search at this forum for the suggestions I got
