I'm very happy to announce the release of Cardo 1.0.3

A Task and Project Management Wiki for Getting Stuff Done

 
Cardo comes from a combination of "Card" and "Do". This was the name given to the main north-south roads in ancient Roman cities, used as a guide for easy navigation. It also aptly describes the UI of the tool.

Cardo has many features for task and project management, including:

  • Projects, Teams, and RACI charts
  • Progress & Status Updates
  • Tasks, Delegation Tracking & Reminders
  • Contexts, Areas & Realms
  • Meetings & Agenda Items
  • References & Notes
  • Contacts & Conversations
  • Book Library & Reading Notes

They are tightly interlinked to allow extremely complex tracking, presented in very elegant dashboards.


Get Cardo at http://cardo.wiki

Cardo comes in either a standalone "empty" TiddlyWiki file, or you can add Cardo to your existing TiddlyWiki by importing a .json file of plugins.

  • 1.0.3 (3 Jul 2017):
    • Added: "Someday/Maybe" projects can now be found in "All Items" Review dashboard
    • Fixed: Some palette tweaks
    • Fixed: Restored specific colours to RACI roles (thought I had that at one point?)
    • Fixed: Meetings and Projects not showing up on dashboards properly
    • Fixed: Person dashboards not filtering projects to show only this person's
    • Reported but not found: Some people are having reminder issues... I couldn't replicate. Seems to work fine for me...

Right now, the tiddlers open one below the other.  Is there a way to make them  open in tabs?

Hi Shankar, there are a few solutions for that, but they depend on other plugins to change the TiddlyWiki "story" layout.

Hi David,

Congrats on the release of this great extension to TW! This is what I was looking for .. will save me a lot of time configuring TiddlyWiki in the way I need it for managing my daily tasks.

I've installed Cardo as plugin to my existing TW5 as described in http://cardo.wiki/#Get%20Cardo .. So far, everything seems to be working nicely, though I think I found a few minor bugs with the Reminder function. Is this the right place to post related bug repors, or is there another/better place mabye on Github or so to do this? (did not find anything related in the Cardo Wiki - BTW, would be good to have a tiddler there saying how to get in touch, report bugs etc.; at least I didn't find anything of that sort in the Wiki...)

I've uploaded 1.0.3 to the main site ( http://cardo.wiki ) as a fresh TW download, or a JSON file for importing, as usual. Thanks very much for reporting the bugs, and for your patience as I've been a bit slow to respond the last couple of months.

Hi David,

Nice to see a new version of Cardo.

On the good side: this version seems to fix some issues with droplists which couldn't be left unaffected in the previous Cardo version

On the bad side, I may have catch a bug:
* When you create a new project with a ' character in the title (ex "I'd")
* There is a strange display under "Previous Meetings" part :  
"Reference Items <$macrocall $name=newButton type='reference' newTag='Reference' newButtonText='In reference to A Project I'd like to start......' newPG='26fbc81d-9932-4b75-b008-0b39b7de8587' /"

I'm just kicking the tires right-now and noticed that the Conversation Log on the various person pages does not contain previous conversations with that person, even-though some have been captured.
