SyncMechanism Not On Root?

How can I configure the SyncMechanism to work with a path other than the root?

e.g. 

• My index.html is hosted at http://example.com/foo/bar/index.html
• I ran Fiddler and observed the first request from TW to be for http://example.com/status
• I need that status request to be for http://example.com/foo/bar/status
