Hi!

I've just released Notebook v1.3.3!

You can see a demo and install it from

https://nicolas.petton.fr/tw/notebook.html

I don't think I announced the last minor releases, so here's a changelog
of changes since v1.3.0:

Features

* New font family settings distinct from the Vanilla theme

Improvements

* Make the sidebar more generic by using core sidebar sections
* Add colours for messages in the dark palette
* Add colours for notification in the dark palette
* Set colours for messages in the beige palette
* Use a slightly lighter colour as the search input background
* Improve contrast of sidebar buttons in the dark palette

Fixes

* Fix tiddler control button colours in all three palettes
* Fix the background colour of tabs in palette-dark

Cheers,
Nico

Thank you Nico!

I am testing Notebook with some common plugins and hopefully I did not find any issue.

A tiny comment: the svg button for switching palette uses w=20px, h=20px versus core svg which are square 22pt. I think it may be worth to adjust the size.
Of course the line weight sounds good.

Best wishes
Mohammad

Thanks for testing it!

Do you see a difference in size between both icons? I don't like using
the pt unit for web design, and AFAICT core icons have a visible
width/height of 20px.

Sorry it took me so long to add this to the themes section of the toolmap. It is there now. Notebook comes with 3 colour palettes, a grey, a beige and a dark one.

Hi Noco,
Well the visual difference is nothing! Just I ask to be compatible with core images!
I did not know px is a better practice than pt. So, keep it as it is now.

Best wishes
Mohammad

Hi. I really like the theme. I have a few customizations I'd like to make, but not sure how to make them.
1) How can I make it so that the sidebar doesn't shift the tiddly-river over? I'd like to make sure it stays centered (as long as it fits).
2) How can I make so the sidebar on by default?
3) Is there a way to make the sidebar resizable (and save in a config)?

You cannot do that today, without hacking the CSS in Notebook.

I initially planned to add a setting for that, but having the sidebar on
by default doesn't work well on mobile devices, where the sidebar takes
the full screen. I might add a setting anyway, not everyone uses
TiddlyWiki on mobile.

Not yet, but I'm plannning to add a setting for that in the next
release.

Not exactly resizable as you can drag its edge to resize it, but there
is an option in Control Panel under Theme Tweaks to set the sidebar
width.
