I did some editing last night with no problems.

This morning when I open my TW again, it refuses to save. The same behavior is found in chrome and Avast Secure browser.

Is it possible/likely that this is because I imported a PDF file which was copy protected? I did not change any of the html file attributes or try to save it using the browser "file: save" command. In fact, the yellow popup confirmed that the wiki was saved, but when I clicked the checkmark to save the entire file, the message above was presented.

Hoping this will shed a little more light on the matter. When I attempted to open a copy of the file, saved to the same location.

That path name doesn't look right -- paths don't usually start with a forward slash. How are you invoking the TW file? To make sure you are invoking the file correctly, navigate to it in your explorer, right click, and then choose whatever browser you want to open it in.

Good luck,
Mark

Thanks Mark. I don't know exactly what I did, but evidently I opened the file in a way that the software was not expecting, so that the original was locked by the filing system and so could not be overwritten. As soon as I used the "File/Open" route from my preferred browser, everything worked fine.

Happy Tiddling,
