Cloning then saving to an existing GitHub repo gives HTTP 409 Error

Hello,

I am encountering a 409 HTTP error when I try to clone an existing repo containing a wiki and then push to it. Do you have to create a new repo each time you clone a wiki? What is the recommended workflow?
