Hi, (specially @Bauwe)

I'd like to experiment a bit with Tiddlycouch.
I'm on Ubuntu 11.10. I've installed couchDB and couchapp.
Then I've created a local database (named 'tw').
When I try to replicate from
http://bijl.iriscouch.com/mineral-empty-ctw or
http://bijl.iriscouch.com/empty-ctw
, to my local base, the replication process fails. If I click another time on the "replicate" button, I get the following message :
Replication failed: {error,{'EXIT',{badarg,[{erlang,apply,[gen_server,start_link,undefined]},
                        {supervisor,do_start_child,2},
                        {supervisor,handle_call,3},
                        {gen_server,handle_msg,5},
                        {proc_lib,init_p_do_apply,3}]}}}

Any idea of what went wrong ?

Thanks

FrD

Hi FrD

This issue is probably caused by your couchdb version.

...there are reports that the default couchdb installed on Ubuntu (and
from the Ubuntu Software Center) is too old.
I cannot confirm if replacing Ubuntu's default version with a new
couchdb is breaking existing settings in your Ubuntu-setup.(I don't
use Ubuntu...)

... I do use Xubuntu (10.04 LTS) and Debian (squeeze) and installed a
local-couchbase (latest version) on both this way:

(see bottom link)
