After downloading tw5  into my download directory, I make a copy and put it in a test directory. I load the tw5 from the test directory with chrome. After adding a tiddler and saving, the saved file always ends up in download directory. What do I do to make it save in the directory I loaded it from?

Hi Thomas

Chrome provides two options for dealing with downloaded files:

* By default, files are automatically downloaded to the "Downloads" folder
* Optionally, Chrome can prompt you for the name and location of the file as it is downloaded. Go to settings and search for "download", and look for the option "Ask where to save each file before downloading"

There's no way to automatically select the download name and location. It's a less than optimal user experience, but it has the advantage that it works on almost any HTML5 compatible browser. The alternative is to use a specialised add-on such as TiddlyFox (for Firefox) or TiddlyIE (for Internet Explorer), both of which are capable of saving changes back to the original file without further user interaction.

Best wishes

Jeremy.
