Make your TiddlyWiki hyper! Hypergraph plugin updated to TW 2.1.3

I finally blew the cobwebs off my TiddlyWiki (1 year later) and got the
Hypergraph plugin and all my other macros updated/tested for TW 2.1.3.
I've tested with IE 6, FF 1.5.0.9 and FF 2.0.0.1.

I find it a useful way to figure out what's in a TiddlyWiki as I have
more than one.

I just realised that it may not be clear that after changing
hyperGraphOptions shadow tiddler, you have to select the "Save XML"
button to update your current navigation graph. Please let me know if
you have any comments, suggestions or queries.

Update release 2.1.1 for HyperTiddlyWiki. Fixed xml generation issue
where Tiddler titles have an apostrophe(reported by Daniel Sholler),
Changed tag line colour to green (cos I can) and added relevant
tiddler nodes to tag nodes (as requested).

That's very nice! The addition of the tag links is very cool... but... (and sorry I keep saying 'more please'... :) I see lots of potential with this for visualising structures in data...) what we need is to make so that a tiddler (or tag) only appears once in the graph. So instead of this tree:

 

Home

+ Tiddlers

++ Jack

++ Jill

+ Tags

++ People

+++ Jack

+++ Jill

++ Boys

+++ Jack

++ Girls

+++ Jill

 

where Jack and Jill nodes are in there multiple times, it should be that there one only node for each of

Jack, Jill, People, Boys, Girls

 

So, (this is not easy in ascii..)

              |   |

[Jack]--------|   |----[Jill]-------[Girls]

    |

    |-------------[Boys]

 

What will get is less like a tree and more like a big spaghetti of relationship links.

 

And maybe it's possible to (optionally?) drop the Home, Tiddlers, Tags nodes and every node is a Tiddler/Tag...

 

I'm sure this is not easy to code but I think it would be worth it. Mmm... spaghetti... :)

I tried that and it ended up looking like spaghetti junction. See sample here.

What you could do is uncheck what you don't want on hyperGraphOptions and generate a new XML file with only the Tags/tiddlers combo.

I could drop the home but I have to have a "home node". How about this:
If only using tag nodes, make tag root node the centre of the hyperverse ?

It's beautiful. I love it!!  The spaghetti juntion is rich in visual information. Notice how you can see which shadow tiddlers are also real tiddlers. Very cool. I can't wait to try this on a MonkeyGTD.

Yeah that sounds cool. I'd like to play with this some more myself. If I get around to it I will post my results.
