@Danielo ...or anybody who knows.

In addition to the NoteSelf / CloudAnt questions I posted here, I'm also wondering the following:

If I understand the CouldAnt docs, it is possible to grant open access to a db.

Does this mean one could make a TW, a bit like the NoteSelf Demo, where any visitor, in their arbitrary browser, can create a new tiddler and then upload this up into the open db for permanent storage? No password or so.

...AND this new content is then loaded as the next person, in a different browser, visits the TW URL?

...AND the tiddlers from the owners restricted db is also loaded.

Thanks!

Hello Mat,

Sorry for not answering your concerns on the other thread.
What you want is possible, please take a look to what I have answered to Tobias:

Also take a look at the recipes referenced on that answer:

I said this several times, but I want to split Noteself into several plugins. One of them will be a simple "client" plugin, which acts as a simple couchdb client, without local storage.
There is a Sync adaptor for couchdb(https://github.com/wshallum/couchadaptor, ), but Noteself has more features. One of them is that you can have several databases on the same wiki, and replicate to and from several different server databases, in the same or different servers.
My plans for the "blog" edition includes a configuration tiddler to specify the sources, one or several.

Regards
