i often have lists i need to keep, and it would help if they would display as a list and not bunched together. how do i get them to list normally (and also sort the list alphabetically, if that's not too ambitious). I know there's html code for lists, but is there a button that will quickly format items to a list?
Thanks for any help!

The quick answer is use the list-links macro see tiddlywiki.com which lists them with bullet points. At the end of you filter just put sort[] or sort[fieldname] where f ieldname could be title (default) created modified text or any other field.

Tony's right. list-links is the simplest way. E.g

<<list-links "[tag[mytag]sort[]]">>

Here's an overview of lists.
