... because a phone screen is too small ...

Has anyone any observations or experience to add on this subject?
* What's the best tablet browser to use?\
  - firefox
  - dolphin
  - maxthon
  - opera
  - skyfire
  - android built-in browser
  - more at http://www.androidauthority.com/best-android-browsers-320252/

* Is an external keyboard a necessity?

* Is it better to have the file locally or via a cloud drive?
  - once loaded its not a performance issue
  - save to cloud or sync to cloud?

Hi Anton

When I use a local TW on my tablet (or phone) I prefer using the app AndTidWiki.
For external TWs I use Chrome... Its easy to send the link from tablet to phone with the SendToPhone app..

Hi Anton

I've got an old Nexus 7 device running Android 4.3 (I think); I run TiddlyWiki on Firefox for Android with TiddlyFox, and it works pretty well.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hi,
I too use Firefox with the Tiddlyfox add-in on phone and tablet

The TiddlyWiki file syncs to Dropbox and other devices

These helper apps proved useful, ymmv depending on your set up:

Some file manager like Total Commander
Bittorrent sync is our friend and syncs to iOS too case you run twmobile
Dropbox sync, paid app that just works

For input, Google,Swype or Swift key are all capable, no external keyboard needed

That said
Because of the screen real estate and performance of the mobile, I've stopped direct entry and now use a text editor like Jota to create .tid files for later import. The astounding thing is import actual works on mobile since we don't have the drag and drop ux. Import via control panel

TiddlyWiki, is all dat :-)

Best,
tony

I use Nexus 7 + AndTidWiki + Dropbox

With my keyboard layout, both physical and virtual, typing <> {} / $ and other symbols is not the best experience I can imagine. For that reason I don't really use the tablet to produce but only to see the documents.

There are some "programmers keyboards" for Android that might help:

This one seemed nice and simple:
