[Question] Adjusting field size for custom fields in edit template add/edit fields section??

Hi all

Working on a personal project. I am wondering if there is a way to have a bottom right handle that could drag to resize each field in the add/edit fields section in the edit template. Or, alternatively, a way to create custom fields that look more like the <$edit tag="textarea".../> input.

The size of the fields, especially the list field, becomes an obstacle when you want to add more than one line of text. You have to scroll horizontally. Long links and multiple long tiddler titles make this tedious. I prefer to see what I am typing, in context.

The use case I am imagining is having a giffbacklinks field to add links to other tiddlers in that field, rather than cluttering up the text field with backlinks. For example, I might want to backlink from the current tiddler to multiple topics, plus a source, plus a format, etc. But I want the note in the text field not to be cluttered by a bunch of backlinks, either in view or edit mode.

Any ideas?
